Bespoke, accessible, universal ADHD Support

Thanks for the presentation yesterday it was really good with lots of light bulb moments for myself regarding the effects of ADHD and how they are visible to the outside world, looking back when I was at school I remember kids being sent from the class or punitive measures taken so many times, I guess the teachers and system didn’t understand or weren’t ready to understand what those kids were dealing with

The awareness session Michael delivered went above and beyond expectations. Over 70 colleagues joined the session with the majority walking away with expanded knowledge and confidence of where to go for further support. Michael’s compassion and knowledge is second to none.

Through coaching, I have learned to calm and harness my thoughts, which I never thought would be possible. Michael understands due to having ADHD himself, which is comforting. He helps to set things out in an easy to follow way and checks in regularly. I can now apply simple techniques and strategies which have had a huge impact on my ability to cope with struggles I've had all my life, whilst coming to terms with a later in life diagnosis of ADHD.

Thank you for a very informative and useful training session last week. There were many things that I learnt from you on the day, you probably noticed by how many notes I took! I have already changed the way that I talk to my clients, particularly those newly introduced to me where first contact is always by phone. You've given me a lot to think about, but all good, as I try to make my clients experience even more positive than I hope it already is 🙂

The supportive nature of our discussions has helped me see I'm not a failure. And I am not at fault. I am just more likely to react fast and the pathways created over my life make reactions harsher. I thought the tools and resources we worked through were excellent. Varied and appropriate for the way I work. The Miro board was excellent. As was the quenza. I enjoyed these. The genius finder tool was also interesting and I found the work of Sarah Templeton interesting also. I have written to my GP as a result and thank you for the opportunity. Thank you very much Michael. I am glad I found you and am grateful for the help you have given me and the improvements I have made as a result.

This course has been really valuable to me understanding more about how my brain works and has given me confidence to pursue a diagnosis. Michael comes across not just as knowledgeable but is funny and compassionate and able to bring the science side of things to life.

On a personal note, I found immense value in discovering that others share similar challenges, which reassured me that my difficulties are not solely my own fault. This aspect of the workshop not only fosters a sense of community but also emphasizes the importance of understanding and acceptance.

It has been a very useful exercise and Mike just got it from the start which no other therapist or counsellor has. He just homes in what matters to getting a positive outcome and those outcomes are not determined by any textbook interpretation of what needs to happen, they are prioritised by listening to what I needed at the outset, and then they are tackled and reinforced and revisited through the process. It is a 2 way street where Mike listens to your barriers and issues and addresses them in a logical way and explains the rationale along the way.

Really useful to understand why my brain works in the way it does. Really well presented and it was helpful to have Michael’s perspective and experience as part of the session to bring it to life. The sessions have helped me get over my imposter syndrome where I convinced myself I don’t have ADHD. I have really appreciated these, Thank you so much.

Brilliant presentation with good mix of in-depth and easily consumed information. Put a lot of things into perspective and shone a light onto things I hadn’t considered.
